Hi, I’m Jacques, and I’m a big traveler. Before DIS Stockholm Spring 2024, I traveled plenty around the USA, Mexico, and Canada, as well as to France, Lebanon, the Dominican Republic, and Argentina. I’m really looking forward to exploring Sweden and surrounding Scandinavia and Europe!
Trying food, meeting new people, and immersing myself in different cultures are exactly what interest me in traveling and studying abroad.
But, of course, exploring the landscape and seeing how life is like in different parts of the world draws me to Scandinavia. I’ve never been to this part of Europe! My parents, who are Lebanese and Argentinian, met in the United States, and thus migration and politics are where my passions reside! Some of my best experiences in life have been made visiting my parents’ home countries.
